Excellent quality time with our guide Erjon; we went up by cable car and walked the whole mountain. We ate at a hidden restaurant with nice views. Very attentive and helpful! An exceptional experience, supported by a remarkable agency and team led by Ilir, a gentleman of exemplary kindness, sense of listening, and correctness, and a young lady, professional guide, IRMA, such a beautiful person and an exceptional guide!! We are 5 French-speaking adults who had the chance to call upon this travel agency quite by chance; at the last minute, asking them, overnight, to organize a three-day road trip for us, from the North to the South of Albania; allowing us to discover the wonderful sites classified as World Heritage by UNESCO as well as the various beautiful and unusual places that the country is full of. We have an absolutely wonderful memory of it today!! From the very first exchanges, we appreciated the seriousness, availability, respect for their word, and professionalism of our telephone contact, ILIR. The organization, the program, and the services were perfect, with special attention paid to our expectations and the smallest details of our requests. A very special mention goes to our French-speaking guide IRMA, who truly contributed to making this experience unforgettable! Endowed with immense knowledge and culture, this graduate of the Albanian Guide School is a great professional, passionate about her work! She is nonetheless a young woman with a big heart; a beautiful, attentive, devoted, warm person of extreme kindness, who knew how to share her knowledge and much more with us; in rich and impeccable French! She made it a point of honor to help us discover places far beyond simple tourist visits, comfortably seated in our air-conditioned Mercedes minivan that she drove with a master's hand through the roads and terrain of her beautiful country! Besides her unique generosity (stopping several times on the side of the road to buy and offer us all the delicious organic fruits and culinary specialties of the regions we were passing through!!), she called upon all her acquaintances, friends, and family for our pleasure and comfort every time one of us expressed a wish, a desire, a request... Always available (day and night) and attentive, she knew how to create a real relationship of trust and friendship with each member of our group and make us feel like dear guests, rather than simple tourist clients. Thanks to her, every discovery, every landscape, and every shared moment took on a special, unique, and unforgettable flavor. Her professionalism, her sense of perfection, and work very well done; her generosity, her enthusiasm, her authenticity, her humor, and her love for the country, but above all her way of bending over backward to meet the slightest wishes of each of the people forming the group of 5 that we were, gave a whole new dimension to our trip! Excellent tour across Albania
My husband and I had our 4.5 days itinerary and all pickups for our 8 days trip to Albania arranged by AO. We’ve had a fantastic experience throughout, including shaping the itinerary and the actual tours. AO were very flexible and responsive during the booking and our stay. Super fantastic tour
While walking around the stadium area, we took the opportunity for this tour by buying the ticket directly there. Since it was lunchtime and a weekday, it was just us and another family, which made it even better. The guide, a young woman whose name I unfortunately don't remember, was always very kind, knowledgeable, and super helpful. We had the opportunity to take many photos and see many key points of the stadium. Highest Marks For Albanian Odyssey
Albanian Odyssesy was outstanding in every way and highly recommended. The cost of a private 5 day tour for my wife and I was very reasonable starting with being met at the Tirana aiport by the company owner Adrian. The company provided five star private guiding service by Adrian, well chosen restaurants and wonderful accommodations. Ilyr, the office manager stayed in close communication with us from beginning to end responding promptly to every contact. The company arranged a five day private tour including two days in the capital Tirana and the surrounding area. This included a city tour on day one, and a private 4 x 4 off road scenic drive and hike at Bovillia Lake by an experienced outfitter the company selected. This off road drive and hike was followed by an outstanding meal at Sofra Ariut Restaurant for typical Albanian cuisine. We toured the village of Kruje in the mountains. The company then arranged a three day tour of the Albanian Alps to hike the iconic six hour Theth to Valbona Valley National Parks hike. Day one was a scenic drive from the capital Tirana, into the Albanian Alps, stopping for a day tour of Shkoder, ending with an overnight in the village of Theth, staying at a lovely alpine lodge. The hike began the following day. Day two involved a professional guide the company selected who lead us through stunningly beautiful scenery over Valbona Pass and into the village of Valbona where we spend night two at the lovely new Valbona Spa Resort. The final day was a beautiful car ferry crossing of Komani Lake which resembles a Nordic Fjord. Lunch on the final day was at Mrizi i Zanave, Albania's well known agrotourism restaurant for a several course Albanian Meal with organic ingredients sourced from the surrounding farms.
